Kenny Omega podpisał kontrakt z federacją All Elite Wrestling. Omega po raz pierwszy publicznie pojawił się podczas wczorajszego eventu promującego event AEW Double Or Nothing. Wrestler powiedział, że on oraz jego przyjaciele będą teraz mogli pokazać fanom wrestlingu, co tak naprawdę oznacza „zmiana świata”. Kenny zaznaczył, że nie podpisał kontraktu z AEW do dnia dzisiejszego. Od 2 lutego był wolnym agentem po wygaśnięciu jego kontraktu z New Japan Pro Wrestling. Omega podobno odrzucił ciekawą ofertę od WWE, ponieważ chciał dołączyć do swoich przyjaciół, czyli Cody’ego Rhodesa i The Young Bucks. Kenny będzie pełnił funkcję wiceprezesa wykonawczego, czyli taką samą co jego przyjaciele. Niespodziewanie w trakcie eventu doszło do konfrontacji z jego udziałem oraz Chrisa Jericho i wygląda na to, że ta dwójka zmierzy się ze sobą 25 maja w Las Vegas.
