Świat pro-wrestlingu świętuje Międzynarodowy Dzień Kobiet!
We wtorek 8 marca wrestlerzy i przedstawiciele różnych organizacji na całym świecie świętowali Międzynarodowy Dzień Kobiet.
Podczas najnowszego epizodu NXT 2.0 WWE ogłosiło, że przez cały marzec będzie świętować Miesiąc Historii Kobiet. Show rozpoczęło się od meczu półfinałowego Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic z udziałem Wendy Choo i Dakoty Kai przeciwko Raquel Gonzalez i Corze Jade.
Wczoraj głos zabrały m.in.: mistrzyni kobiet SmackDown Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Queen Zelina Vega czy Sonya Deville. Sasha Banks wysłała serdeczną wiadomość do Vince’a McMahona i WWE.
Gwiazda AEW Tay Conti podzieliła się ilustracją przedstawiającą mistrzynię TBS Jade Cargill całującą ją podczas zeszłotygodniowej gali AEW Revolution. Tymczasem Thunder Rosa podziękowała fanom za wspieranie kobiecego wrestlingu poprzez wiadomość wideo. Zaapelowała również do swoich koleżanek i kolegów, aby „nadal walczyli” o równość.
Xavier Woods wraz ze swoją ekipą UpUpDownDown stworzył mash-up video z udziałem Bayley, Charlotte i Sashy Banks.
Kilka organizacji niezależnych podkreśliło również, jak bardzo ich kobiece dywizje rozwinęły się w ostatnich latach.

In March 1990, hugely influential lucha indie Universal ran their first shows w/ a ring on loan from AJW & matches. Still a rarity in Japan, women appearing on a men’s cards would become common on the indie scene, exposing live women’s wrestling to a whole new male demographic 🌟 pic.twitter.com/TI52yUpql8
